Berkshire Private Anaesthesia is a partnership of 20 consultant anaesthetists.
All members of the partnership hold consultant posts in the NHS, at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
We provide a 24/7 anaesthetic service primarily at Berkshire Independent, Spire Dunedin, and Circle Reading hospitals, in addition to our duties at Royal Berkshire, Newbury and Windsor hospitals.
We have the expertise to provide anaesthesia for all surgical specialties in the local area, and, working with our surgical colleagues, we aim to provide the best care possible for you prior to, during, and in the post-operative period of your hospital stay.

Royal Berkshire Hospital
The Royal Berkshire Hospital is a National Health Service hospital in the town of Reading in the English county of Berkshire. It provides acute hospital services to the residents of the western and central portions of Berkshire, and is managed by the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
The hospital provides 813 inpatient beds, together with 204-day beds and spaces. In doing so, it employs over 4,000 staff and has an annual budget of £228 million.
